Laurel Tiphareth is a Washington State Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a private practice serving Goldendale and surrounding areas including along the Columbia River Gorge. She provides psychotherapeutic services for the treatment of anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, trauma, traumatic grief, and other mental health concerns for people of all ages including elders, adolescents, children, and families.
Professional Experience:
- Five years clinical experience working in a community mental health care setting, including crisis response.
- Over 9 years trauma-focused clinical experience working with individuals, children, and families in groups and private sessions.
- Over 20 years experience providing developmental guidance to parents with infants and young children in a variety of settings including homes, schools, mental health, and community clinics.
Integrated into her approach are cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic, and narrative therapy methods. The treatment plan is a flexible document, developed collaboratively with clients to reflect their goals and priorities, and to measure progress. The therapeutic relationship provides a safe, supportive atmosphere in which to resolve difficulties, reduce stress and enhance well-being.

I offer free initial consultations and in-home as well as office visits.
My office hours are Monday through Wednesday 10:00 am-6:00 pm or by appointment.
Medicare & Medicaid (Healthy Options); and most insurance accepted.
Individualized payment plans may be made in advance.
I am available for consultation and presentations on mental health topics including
psychological trauma, sexual and domestic violence, postpartum mood disorders,
and early childhood development/attachment.
